These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website https://www.Lux4home.com and define the terms of purchase, communication, and cooperation with MaxTrader Group, operating under the brand Lux4home™.

Production and logistics are managed through our own workshops in Indonesia and our European headquarters in Poland. This hybrid structure ensures both artisanal quality and legal compliance under EU law.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICE

Lux4home™ specializes in the design, production, and global export of natural stone bathtubs, sinks, mosaics, and other bathroom furnishings made from authentic Indonesian stone.

Our products are handmade, individually crafted, and may vary slightly in color, shape, and texture due to the natural origin of the materials used.

3. CUSTOM ORDERS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Most Lux4home™ products are made to order (custom-made) based on client specifications including material, dimensions, finish, and quantity.

  • Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, or altered.
  • Custom-made products are excluded from standard return rights under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16 – goods made to consumer specifications).
  • All project photos sent before shipment must be reviewed and approved by the client to confirm satisfaction with the result prior to dispatch.

4. NATURAL MATERIAL VARIATIONS

As every stone block is unique, natural variations in color, structure, veining, and surface texture are inherent and not considered defects.

Minor irregularities, inclusions, pores, or natural fissures are characteristic of authentic stone and confirm its natural origin. These features shall not be grounds for complaints or returns.

5. FORCE MAJEURE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES

Lux4home™ shall not be held liable for delays or production interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, and other natural disasters,
  • Political unrest, trade restrictions, port closures, or global pandemics,
  • Unexpected natural events during production (e.g., internal fractures or color shifts revealed when cutting stone blocks).

In such cases, production may be restarted using new material, potentially affecting the delivery timeline. The client will be informed promptly, and the project will continue under mutually agreed terms.

6. SHIPPING AND TRANSPORT

Lux4home™ does not operate as a shipping company. All shipments are executed through independent, specialized freight forwarders chosen for their reliability and experience in handling stone products.

  • The customer may select and appoint their own transport provider.
  • Lux4home™ is responsible for preparing the goods for shipment (professional crating, documentation, and export papers) but is not liable for transport damage, loss, or delays once goods are collected by the carrier.
  • All shipments can be insured according to the buyer’s request and instructions.

6A. CUSTOMS, TAXES, AND IMPORT REGULATIONS

International buyers are responsible for complying with all import regulations, duties, taxes, and customs clearance procedures in their respective countries. Lux4home™ does not collect or pay any import-related fees on behalf of the buyer.

  • All applicable customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
  • Delays caused by customs inspections or local regulations are beyond the control of Lux4home™ and shall not constitute grounds for cancellation or compensation.
  • Should the buyer refuse to pay customs duties or decline receipt of the goods, all resulting costs (including return shipping and storage fees) shall be borne by the buyer.

6B. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Because Lux4home™ products are handcrafted, made to order, and often customized to client specifications, returns are generally not accepted. Exceptions may be made only in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects verified by our Quality Control department.

  • In the rare event of an authorized return, the buyer must contact Lux4home™ beforehand to obtain written approval and instructions.
  • Returned goods must be securely packaged in their original crate or equivalent professional packaging to avoid damage during transport.
  • All return shipping costs, customs duties, and insurance are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Refunds, if approved, are processed via bank transfer within a reasonable timeframe after receiving and inspecting the returned goods.

7. WARRANTIES AND CLAIMS

Lux4home™ products are subject to rigorous quality control before dispatch. In the unlikely event of a quality concern, claims must be reported immediately upon delivery and accompanied by photo or video documentation.

Damage resulting from improper installation, chemical misuse, or inadequate maintenance is not covered under warranty.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Lux4home™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to installation costs, loss of profit, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the product.

9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of Polish courts.

For international transactions, English shall be considered the binding language of these Terms of Use.

10. AMENDMENTS AND ACCEPTANCE

By accessing the website or placing an order, the user acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Use.

Lux4home™ reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page and effective immediately upon posting.
