Compare the usable bathing space, the stone and finish, the delivery route and the installation requirements before choosing a model. At Lux4home, direct contact with the manufacturer lets you discuss an existing design or agree a custom drawing for the selected block. If a circular layout suits your room, the [round stone bathtub ORBIS](https://www.lux4home.com/p/round-bathtub-orbis/) is one model to discuss with us. Compare it with the [round bathtub collection](https://www.lux4home.com/round-bathtubs/) before confirming the usable bathing space, access around the rim and delivery route. External dimensions alone do not describe sitting comfort. ### Four practical checks for a comfortable installation #### 1. Water temperature and thermal mass Stone has thermal mass: it warms as it exchanges heat with the water. How long a bath stays warm also depends on the initial stone temperature, water volume, exposed surface and room conditions. Do not assume that every stone tub holds a particular temperature for a fixed time or eliminates the need to add warm water. ![Outdoor River Stone Bathtub](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/River-Stone-Bathtub-Flumen-Lux4home™-5.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 1") #### 2. Internal space and safe access Comfort starts with usable internal dimensions and the intended bathing position. External length or diameter includes the walls and does not tell you how much room there is for your legs, back and shoulders. Discuss the interior profile and water level on a drawing before approving a custom bath. Rim height matters when entering and leaving the bath. An external step can reduce one part of the climb, but you still need to lift your leg over the rim and reach the internal floor or seat. Plan this movement around the actual user and bathroom layout. ![Stone Bathtub SPA](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Double-River-Stone-Bathtubs-in-SPA-Lux4hoome-10.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 2") #### 3. Weight, delivery and installation Plan the load as the bathtub, water and bathers together. Request the actual empty weight and intended water capacity for the proposed piece; a structural professional should assess the floor and support arrangement. A generic product photograph or stone name is not enough for that calculation. Check the delivery route as carefully as the finished bathroom. Door openings, turns, stairs, lifting access and the route to the final support position can limit the feasible size. Confirm the drain position and access to the connection with the installer before the bath is made. ![Natural Stone Bathtub](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Natural-Stone-Bathtub-a.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 3") #### 4. Individual stone and everyday care Natural stone offers individual colour, veining and texture. Ask to see the actual available piece or the block proposed for your order. Decide separately on the outside appearance and the bathing-surface finish, because a raw exterior does not mean the interior must have the same texture. Request care instructions for the particular stone and finish. Use suitable cleaning products, address spills and follow the specified surface-treatment guidance. A stone bath can be durable, but no natural material is immune to staining, impact or unsuitable chemicals. ![Double River Stone Bathtubs in SPA - Lux4hoome](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Double-River-Stone-Bathtubs-in-SPA-Lux4hoome-1.jpeg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 4") ### Create Your Perfect Stone Bathtub with Lux4home™ – A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Comfort #### **Lux4home™ – Experience That Speaks for Itself** Lux4home™ manufactures stone bathtubs in Indonesia for private homes, hotels and spa projects in more than 50 countries. That experience informs practical discussions about the selected block, the bathing position, the finish, installation access and the production drawing. Selecting the stone, shape and finish together helps the bath fit the project. Long service life also depends on appropriate installation and care. Choose for the way you will use the bath, rather than treating a material name as a guarantee of comfort or resistance to every type of damage. ![Stone Bathtubs for sale](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Flumen-Natural-River-Stone-Bathtub-7.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 5") #### **Prestigious Projects and Unique Applications Worldwide** Lux4home™ bathtubs adorn luxurious interiors and spas worldwide, including prestigious hotels such as One & Only Palmilla Resort in Mexico, De Moksha Resort in Bali, and Six Senses Crans in Switzerland. Over 203 high-end hotels and 870 individual customers have chosen our bathtubs, recognizing them as the epitome of luxury and excellence. However, our stone bathtubs are not limited to traditional bathroom settings. They have been installed in a wide range of extraordinary locations, including winter gardens, exclusive spa retreats, and even as centerpiece installations in outdoor wellness areas. Lux4home™ has also crafted twin bathtubs with mirrored reflections for romantic hotels, as well as extra-large models designed to accommodate three or four people. Our stone bathtubs have found a place in hot springs, immersion pools for cooling down, and even in private outdoor settings as an alternative to traditional pools. These unique placements demonstrate the versatility and enduring appeal of natural stone as a medium for relaxation and wellness, far beyond the confines of conventional bathroom designs. ![Granite Bathtub](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Freestanding-Marble-Bathtub-Granite-Bathtub-3.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 6") #### **At Lux4home™, You Decide How Your Bathtub is Made** Share your intended use and layout with us so we can assess the proposed stone, shape and finish. For an outdoor installation, confirm the local climate, drainage and exposure requirements for the actual material. Agree the production drawing and connection details before work begins. We provide photographs during production so that you can review the shape and finish before dispatch. Confirm the dimensions and details against the agreed specification. This gives you a practical role in the process, even when the bath is produced for an overseas project. ![Stone Bathtub Production](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Stone-Bathtub-Granite-9.jpeg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 7") ### Make the choice around your project Choose a stone bathtub by combining the appearance you want with usable internal space, access, installation and maintenance requirements. The bath can be a place for relaxation, but the stone itself should not be treated as a medical treatment. Compare the collection, select a model and confirm the individual piece with the manufacturer. ![River Stone Bathtub](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Stone-bathtub-FILEminimizer.jpg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 8") ![Mariusz Tres](https://www.lux4home.com/wp-content/gallery/2024/04/Blog-Avatar-300x300.jpeg "Choosing a Natural Stone Bathtub 9") ###### Mariusz Tres Mariusz Tres, the founder of Lux4home™ brand, is a passionate designer of natural stone products with over a decade of experience.
